Recognitions

  1. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Skill India Mission of Vocational Training is registered and established under Act 1882, Government of India.
  2. As per the circular of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi (Notification No 26/4/52 c.c., dated 20/09/1952), issued in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission: Degree/Diploma awarded by a Board/University in India, which are incorporated by an Act of Central/State Legislature, are automatically recognized for employment purposes—no formal recognition order is required.
  3. AKSIM offers its own programs in various areas to achieve total literacy in India; all its programs are intended for value addition and entrepreneurship development.
  4. AKSIM programs are especially designed to improve employability in private-sector organizations in India.
  5. AKSIM is an autonomous body and does not come under the purview of UGC, AICTE, AIU, or DEB Acts.
  6. AKSIM follows the syllabi and nomenclatures prescribed by the University Grants Commission, Government of India, for various programs designed by its Academic Board.
  7. The term “autonomous body” denotes a self-governing, independent entity subject to its own laws—regulated either by company law or by the law governing registered societies/trusts. Its own Board of Directors specifies rules of business, and administration is not controlled by any other authority, including any State Government or the Union Government of India.
